Become a Foster Home or volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Amazing Aussies is a volunteer-driven organization, our volunteers are very important to us. We want your volunteer experience to serve as an outlet for your talents and passions, resulting in a rewarding experience for you, our animals and the rest of the organization. With starting the new Rescue, our volunteer base needs building, to help us grow stronger. Our current volunteers are professionals, mothers, fathers, and students; like you, all of them want to find the perfect balance between home life, work life, and community life. The rewards of volunteering can be boundless and will unfold in countless ways as you begin to interact with and care for our dogs.
We are working to structure our Volunteer Program to allow you to choose a role that compliments your talents, interests, and schedule. All we ask of our volunteers is that they choose a role that they feel passionate about, and that they follow through on their volunteer commitment. We offer a variety of roles to choose from, some include working with the public, others working directly with the animals, or a combination of the two. We are working to create roles with time commitments that range between 1 – 4 hours per week, or every other week, with a choice of shifts and locations. We are also actively looking for individuals that can open their homes to foster Aussies in need.
